Es Trenc - 10km finest Sand & Water
As part of the Natural Area of Special Interest Es Trenc-Salobrar de Campos, the area and beach Es Trenc are protected from buildings, cars, or restaurants/bars/shops that could ruin the landscape. This beautiful 10km long beach is a must-see in Mallorca with one of the softest sand and clearest water all over the island.
Heading towards Sa Ràpita and taking a left turn once the waterfront is reached you will easily find the access to Es Trenc next to the Sa Ràpita Yacht Club. Only 10min by bike the beach starts next to Sa Ràpita and goes all the way over Ses Covetes until Colonia de Sant Jordi.
The only buildings on the entire beach are 2 left over bunkers from the Spanish civil war, painted by artist group boa mistura for the project "landscape of peace". Nothing else will ever come in the way as the area is protected land as "area of special interest".
Weekends can be packed after 12:00 but the mornings between Tuesday and Friday tend to be less busy with enough space to find privacy even in high season.
DO PAY for your parking tickets as the police checks rigorously on all parking spots. If you don't mind walking 150m you can sometimes even find spots for free right after the corner close to Sa Ràpita. Or you simply cycle down to the beach and lock your bike next to the Yacht Club.
Enjoy the sun!
